MiB

MiB: welcome to the world of Medical Imaging

Medical imaging Buddies mission is to encourage and mentor students in medical science so they may later become successful and engaged medical professionals. We have created an academic program and an online community of medical imaging professionals who volunteer to advise students. We provide resources to support students, parents and teachers as they navigate medical research – often for the first time. MiB Students are “buddied” with undergraduate medical students from our Medical imaging Volunteer Internship Program as well as having access to faculty members. Medical imaging Buddies looks to give students the information that will guide them to a successful science project while introducing them to the wonderful world of Medical Imaging. We provide a link between medical scientists, health professionals, and students, giving students access to valuable information and at the same time giving medical imaging professionals a way to reach out to young people interested in their field.
